Knoppix is a debian derivative. It mostly uses Debian repositories and they have prepared some customized packages of their own:https://debian-knoppix.alioth.debian.org/
It is developed by one (!) very skilled and dedicated developer.

Most of the discussions happen on Loomio these days:https://www.loomio.org/g/h1BjgZMm/
You can open a new discussion over there, although I would prefer to have technical discussions on the forum.

You can prepare one with a souvla background but how does this gives value to the project? For a project to be successful you need goals, a target audience, dedicated people to work on it... And in the end it will need to give some value to its users, otherwise nobody will use it.

We are free to create an Ubuntu derivative if that's want we want. We do not need anyone's approval for that.

I lost hope some years ago mate. That's why I gave up on promoting FOSS for the public sector because they really don't care about anything we have to say. I prefer to focus on events like this (feel free to join if you like) where the focus is on the people that are interested in learning something new, instead of trying to fix something that broke decades ago:https://www.loomio.org/d/jawz4udV/-
