4th Release Party of Ubuntu/Fedora


The Cyprus Ubuntu Loco Team and the Student IEEE Branch of Cyprus University are Organizing the 4th Release Party of Ubuntu/Fedora on the 7th of November. The event will take place on 17:00 at the Campus of University of Cyprus.

1) 5:00pm – Introduction to Ubuntu (in Greek)
2) 5:30pm – Case Study on the Applications of Open Source Software in Elementary Education, 2004-2009 (in Greek)
3) 6:00pm – Linux for students (in English)

Workshops (Room Β101 – Department of Information Technology):
1) 6:30pm – The Compiz 3D Desktop and the Moovida Media Center (in Greek)
2) 7:00pm – Installation of Ubuntu 9.10 (in Greek)
